Home from our trip to Brown County with a few days at home before returning to work we set out on a ride to Adams and Wells County. It was a warm day for a ride but the breezes in the rural areas kept up cool. The architecture on this court house in Adams County reminds me of The Adams family and The Munsters. The exteriors and the landscape are in excellent condition. The colors really pop. There were a few unique buildings and signs around the court house square. The war memorial is the largest we have seen to date. The names listed were mostly from the civil war. I was surprised to see the plaque dedicated to Gene Stratton Porter. She grew up in Wabash County, near Lagro. It seems that I have seen another plaque in Ligonier, IN, in Noble County.
