Meet Webster!
Our best estimate is that Bailey is close to being 1 year old. She has been a member of the family for 6 months now. Since I am trying to teach myself how to photograph portraits, I thought I would use her as my model today. She wasn't the most cooperative subject imaginable but we both had fun. She only knocked me down once and I only had to clean doggie nose print off of the lens once. At one point she thought we were playing a game and began barking at me. The neighbor's dog, who was tied up outside, joined in for a little chorus. I hope you think she is as cute as I do. As always, comments are welcome. I took this picture last week. This session is what prompted me to do a little research on taking portraits.
There were two situations that prevented me from posting courthouse shots last week. The first was the weather. It was very cold and wet here in Northern Indiana. We even awoke to snow on the ground on Saturday morning. Some would say that this makes me a real weenie. Some would even go so far as to accuse me of being a fair weather rider. They would all be right! I readily admit to being both a weenie and a fair weather rider. The second thing that sidelined bike riding this past week was the addition of Bailey to our family. Bailey is a puppy that Curtis and I adopted from Perfect Paws Pet Rescue. She is estimated to be about 6 months old, mixed breed, and currently weighs 40 lbs. She is thought to be a mix between American Staffordshire Terrier and Boxer. She is very sweet and energetic. She has gotten me off the couch and out for a daily walk. Her favorite game is fetch.
I am providing a link to Perfect Paws. This group does a great job of rescuing and fostering animals that would otherwise be destroyed. Remember; adopt, don't shop. http://www.perfectpawspetrescue.org/ |
AuthorHi! My name is Mary. My husband Curtis and I live in Huntertown Indiana. We have a 2009 Harley Davidson Street Glide. My hobby is photography and we thought it would be fun to travel around Indiana and photograph all of the 92 court houses located in the 92 counties of Indiana. Let the adventure begin!
